hey hey
I have a problem with git. Maybe someone can help me.

I'm using 1Password and accidentally enabled the SSH agent and then disabled it again. I adjusted the .gitconfig and started the OpenSSH-Authentication-Agent again. According to Windows it works. However, git does not work. I get the following error: "Couldn't get agent socket". So I tried to start the agent with this command: "eval "$(ssh-agent -d)"". There should come an output similar to this: "Agent pid 12345". But I get nothing at all. Does anyone have an idea how I can solve this?

    i found the issue :)

    in my .gitconfig were these two things

    [gpg]
    format = ssh
    [commit]
    gpgsign = true

    when i removed them everything worked again

  • Glad to hear you were able to resolve your issue! Let me know if you have any other questions!
