Every time Safari Loads still get popup to install 1Password for Safari

I've installed 1Password including the 1Password for Safari Extension that I've enabled.

But every time that Safari opens I still get the popup about "Start Using 1Password in Safari"

How do I make that popup go away and not appear again?

1Password Version: 8.10.9
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: 12.6.7
Browser: Safari

  • Hey @ScottCodes,

The 1Password for Safari app needs to be installed on your Mac in order to it to function but after this you can remove it from your dock and you do not need to open it. Can you try these steps and then let me now if you continue to see it these set up steps:

    1. Locate it's icon in the dock of your Mac, it will look like a 1Password icon with a small compass on it
    2. Right click the icon and choose 'Quit'
    3. Right click it again and choose Option > Remove from dock

Other than that is 1Password in Safari working as you'd expected when filling and saving on websites?
