Trouble unlocking 1P with password instead of Touch ID

This is a repeat of https://1password.community/discussion/135834/trouble-unlocking-1p-with-password-instead-of-touch-id. I see that the discussion was closed and changed to a personal support request.
"... when the Touch ID unlock dialog appears, I select "Use Account Password" – it opens the 1P master password prompt (with focus, so I can fill it in and unlock) – but it unnecessarily opens the Touch ID dialog again on top of it."
I have the same issue. It's annoying bug since the second prompt for the password doesn't get keyboard focus. Should I also open a support request or may we discuss it here?
