Please give me an option to disable autosave for logins
I have several work related websites that I absolutely do not ever want to save passwords. I am no being constantly annoyed by the prompt to autosave every time I go to one of these websites (generally 20-30 times per day as part of a QA process). I do not want to leave 1password but this is costing me time and creating a major annoyance.

Thanks for the ping! Have you tried the following:
- Navigate to the webpage in question.
- Right-click on the page and select 1Password - Password Manager > Hide on this page.
Let me know if that doesn't work for your needs.-Dave

Hi Dave.
Sounds good!
Does it work for a single page (URL), or the entire website (domain)?
Best,

Thank you for the feedback! A very old version of 1Password used to have a feature to exclude domains from autosave but this feature wasn't built in the modern version of 1Password which was written from scratch a few years ago.
While I can't make any promises, I've let the team know that you'd like to see this feature be introduced to the current version of 1Password in the future. 🙂

In my opinion, the "Never Autosave for This Site" feature is very important and useful.
I was surprised learning that 1Password used to have it, but it was removed! Here is another thered about it, but closed (for a reason I don't understand): How to set "Never Autosave for this Site"

Hello aestes! 👋
I'm sorry that 1Password is getting in the way, have you considered using a separate browser profile for your work related websites? That would allow you to keep personal and work browsing separated and you can choose to only enable 1Password in the browser in your personal profile. You can learn more about profiles for some popular browsers here:
- Use Chrome with multiple profiles - Computer - Google Chrome Help
- Use profiles in Safari on Mac - Apple Support (CA)
If you would like to turn off the autosave feature then you can follow these steps:
- Open your browser.
- Right-click on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and click Settings.
- Click Autosave & fill.
- Turn off "Save logins automatically".
I hope that helps! 🙂
