1Password extension doesn't lock up when chromium microsoft Edge browser closes.
I use 1Password extension on chrome and chromium Edge in Windows 10.
When I close Edge and re-open, 1Password extension isn't locked up.
Is it an intentional work?

Hello @S27go8TN! 👋
Thanks for reaching out. Do you have the 1Password desktop app installed on your Windows PC? If you do then the browser extension and the desktop app integrate with each other to share a lock state so that 1Password doesn't automatically lock when the browser closes.
Let me know if you don't have the desktop app installed.
You can choose to have 1Password lock more often, if you wish, by changing your auto-lock settings: How to set 1Password to lock automatically

Hello @Dave_1P
I don't install the desktop app on my Windows 10 Pro.
And all automatical lock options are- Automatically lock 1Password (ON)
- Lock after system is idle for (10 min)
- Lock when device goes to sleep (On)
This issue came out after updating chromium Edge(124.0.2478.105 64bit).
It doesn't happen on Chrome. And I use other extensions with 1Password extension.
- Bitdefender Anti-tracker(1.5.0.35)
- TrafficLight(3.2.5)

Thank you for those additional details. I can't reproduce the issue on my end in Microsoft Edge. Could you try the following:
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Click on the 1Password icon in Edge's toolbar and unlock 1Password.
- Click on the three dots icon in the Microsoft Edge toolbar and then click Close Microsoft Edge.
- Wait ten seconds.
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Click on the 1Password icon in Edge's toolbar.
Is 1Password already unlocked or are you prompted to unlock? If 1Password is locked then can you tell me what steps you follow when you encounter this issue so that I can try to reproduce it on my end?

I followed your procedures, 1Password was already unlocked.
So, 1Password extension is always unlocked until being locked manually by me.And I tried some after procedures.
- Delete and re-install 1Password extension: Not Work
- Restore Microsoft Edge(Chromium): Not Work
- Uninstall Other Edge extension(Copilot, Bing searching): Not Work
When I checked the task manager after Edge closed, some Microsoft Edge background processes remained. I tried stopping those with task close button. After all those background processes ended, 1Password extension was unlocked I opened the Microsoft Edge.
I think Microsoft Edge background processes hold a work of 1Password extension.
(Other thing) I got a login delay for a month. When I login, I see a 'Not connect cloud icon(slash over the cloud)' for 2~4 seconds.(then disappear)

I found the solution! :)
I said that Microsoft Edge background processes remain after it closes before.
There is a document about this issue.(Microsoft Community, link)- Turn off "Continue running background extensions and apps when Microsoft Edge is closed" and "Startup boost" Edge's settings (System and Performance > System).
- Open regedit.exe (Registry Editor) - Running it as Administr is recommended.
- Go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge" (if this path does not exist, add a new Key with that name).
- Add the following new DWORD (32-bit) Value: StandaloneHubsSidebarEnabled and set it to 0.
- Reboot Windows or kill the task and restart MS Edge.
- NOTE: "Managed by your organization" will be displayed below the Close Microsoft Edge option (Settings and more, Alt+F) and "Your browser is managed by your organization" mentioned at the top of the Edge's Settings tab/page.
I tried to '3~5' and 1Password extension works properly.
Maybe Microsoft's Sidebar & Copilot make some problem to 1Password extension.
