Bug - item does not show up
in chrome browser, when autofill is turned off for a website, and i click the 1p extension, the login item (saved for that website) does not show up at all. i have to manually search it.
even autofill it turned off, it should show up by default when clicking on 1P extension.

Hello, @ttod. Thank you for your reply. I'm sorry about the trouble you're experiencing with 1Password in the browser.
Which option are you referring to when autofill is turned off for a website? What shows up when clicking the 1Password icon in the browser's toolbar? For example, does it list Suggestions or All items?

@EvonG1P
so, again, quite basic operation. when an item has "autofill" turned on that website, then when i visit that website and after clicking in password field, 1P items pop-up and I select my login. then it automatically fills user &pw and autoclicks login.
that is ok and expected.but, if i turn of "autofill" for that website, then, when i visit that website/domain, neither 1P shows any items in the popup (which appears after i click cursor inside user/pass fields) and even, if i click the 1P browser icon, there is not shown that item, but only "favorites" are shown (similar when I click 1P icon in blank tab).
that's obvious bug and it's annoying very much. 1P should still show the item, just I dont want autofill. that's all.

Can you clarify which setting you're referring to when you say that you turn off autofill? Which of these settings did you turn off:
I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for the screenshot. Autofill behaviour rules control where a login is suggested and filled. Setting an autofill behavior for a website address to "Never fill on this website" will mean that the login won't be suggested on that website anymore in either the filling menu or the pop-up. You can read more here:
You can still find that item by switching the view in the pop-up to All Items or by searching for the login. Then you can fill by clicking Autofill in the top right corner of the pop-up.

Dave, don't you really understand what is the problem?
so, if you have auto-fill enabled, then it fills everything automatically which is not desired, because there are different checkboxes (or other things) on many websites and we want to avoid automatic fill & autoclick of login.
again, we want to avoid automatic login on the websites, but we still want to have auto-fill option.
it is so easy to understand what is the problem.
so, if i turn off the autofill, then it doesn't even show up in suggestions.0 -
If auto-fill is off there are no suggestions offered.
https://support.1password.com/autofill-behavior/#never-fill-on-this-website
1Password will ignore this website field when determining whether the item can be filled. This is useful if you don’t want the item to be suggested under any circumstances.
Looking at the description on the support page 1Password is operating as expected.

This seems like you wish to disable auto-submit.
To disable auto-submit entirely for all sites:
- Right-click 1Password in the browser toolbar.
- Select Settings.
- Select Autofill & save.
- Turn off auto-submit - "Sign in automatically after autofill
1Password will automatically submit forms after filling logins."
To disable auto-submit on a per site basis:
- While viewing an item in the extension, select the ellipsis button.
- Choose “Don’t sign in automatically”.
