one-time password not working

I've been using one-time passwords through 1password for years but recently it's been giving me issues. i think it started when the OTP submitted automaticaly. If i copythe OTP and use a different authenticator it works.

i'm primarily using this with Salesforce

1Password Version: 8.10.40
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: windows 10 pro
Browser: Chrome

    Can you disable autosubmit on the site level and see if it helps? Both methods are below, site and global.

    To disable auto-submit entirely for all sites.

    1. Right-click 1Password in the browser toolbar.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select Autofill & save.
    4. Turn off auto-submit - "Sign in automatically after autofill
      1Password will automatically submit forms after filling logins."

    To disable auto-submit on a per site basis:

    1. While viewing an item in the extension, select the ellipsis button.
    2. Choose “Don’t sign in automatically”.
