Incorrect mimetype on XPI download link.
Lately, when I've been downloading the latest beta Firefox extension, I've noticed that Firefox doesn't automatically prompt to install it. At first I thought it was an issue with Firefox, so I posted a question in the Firefox support forum. Their response was that the mimetype of the download is "binary/octet-stream" instead of "application/x-xpinstall".

Hello @fishnet37222! 👋
Thank you for reaching out! I've brought this to the team internally and I'll report back as soon as I have more information.
Are you able to link to your question on the Firefox support forum? I can send that to the team as well. 🙂

Dave,
Thanks for following up.
Here's the link you requested: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1460204
Their response doesn't mention the correct type. I got that from this page in the Firefox Extension Workshop.

Thank you for those links! I've opened an internal issue with our release team internally and they plan to look into this for the future. While I can't make any promises, I think that this would be a helpful change.
I appreciate you flagging this to us. 🙂

Thanks for your patience. The team has investigated and found that the MIME type is already set correctly. While I did see the same behaviour that you reported yesterday, I'm no longer able to reproduce it today. When I download the beta version of the extension from this page I see the following:
and then:
Can you test again to see if you see different behaviour? If you do still see the same behaviour can you check if you've blocked our website from installing add-ons in the past:
I look forward to hearing from you.
