login/password completion fails on https://business.apple.com

edited October 23 in 1Password in the Browser

Setup: MacOS Sequoia, Safari, latest extension installed (stable channel), integrated with a local 1Password installation

  1. go to https://business.apple.com
  2. type Command-Slash (or click on the 1password extension button)
  3. the 1password dialog box appears, containing all my apple accounts (OK)

When I select one of the options (either via the keyboard or the mouse), nothing happens: the select login is not entered in the login form, as one would expect.

If I enter the login manually then type enter (or click the button), the password field appears. At this exact moment, Command-Slash works as expected and autofill the login/password fields. It does this rather weirdly, "rewinding" to previous page to enter the login. (video available on demand).

This does not happen on other apple web site (icloud, developer, etc.), only on business.apple.com. Any one has the same issue?

Thanks

  • Hello @garz75! 👋

I'm sorry that 1Password isn't filling the Apple Account field on that particular webpage. I've been able to reproduce the issue on my end and I've filed an internal work item with out development team to get this fixed.

For the time being, you can drag and drop your email address into the field from the pop-up. I hope that helps.

Thank you for the prompt reply. FWIW, I also noticed that the autofill works on this website for the “relogin” page, that appears after the first login, if the page stays idle for some time…

    Cheers, Fred
