Just curious, why are .ca .com and .eu domains needed / used?

As the title read, why are .ca .com and .eu domains needed / used in the below?

I am simply curious.

    The 1Password service is offered in multiple regions and this affects how you're billed and where your data is hosted. You can read more here:

    The URLs for our websites are listed under "Configured websites" in Safari so that the 1Password for Safari web extension can connect to those websites. These URLs are defined in our extension manifest which is included with the extension when you download it from the Mac App Store.
