2FA on Paypal no Autofill after Passkey
Hi,
When I log in to Paypal with the passkey, I'm asked for the 2FA code. There is no autofill from 1P. This is annoying.
Can you please take a look at this and fix it?
Greetings

Hi @vealpool, thanks for reaching out!
I'm sorry that you're experiencing trouble filling the one-time password after signing in with a passkey on the PayPal website. Can you confirm if you're experiencing this on your computer or a mobile device? Additionally, can you confirm which version of 1Password is currently installed?
I look forward to hearing from you!

Thank you for that information. 1Password not filling the one-time password on PayPal.com after using your passkey in desktop browsers is a known issue and I've added your report to the internal work item for the issue.
For the time being, you'll need to manually copy your one-time password from 1Password and paste it into a website after using your passkey: Copy and fill passwords into apps that don't work with 1Password

As you said, it is in Chrome the same.
Thank you for noticing it.

I reported the same issue in September of last year (https://1password.community/discussion/148116/sign-in-with-or-passkey-with-otp-doesnt-work#latest). This is not just a PayPal issue; it occurs on every website where you use "Sign in with" or passkeys in combination with OTP.
It's incredibly frustrating, and I have considered switching to other PW apps but I haven't made the jump yet. Most of my logins use this combination, and I don't want to disable OTP just because 1Password doesn't handle it properly.

Thanks again for the report.
I wanted to share a workaround that might help make the process easier for you: when you're prompted for your one-time password by PayPal, clicking on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and then click Autofill. 1Password will fill and submit your one-time password. I hope that helps!
