I am having this problem too on all three of my Macs (Studio, Air, and Macbook PRO), and no suitable help from support. All my browsers, across three machines, are continually being hijacked by 1Password setting prompts, even when I have followed all the instructions.

I should not have to sit here and go through a wealth of troubleshooting that includes submitting reports to 1Password.

If you Google this issue, there are enough complaints on this issue to make you realize this is the fault of the software and the developers have not been able to fix the issue, putting the customer through time-consuming steps that don't seem to fix it.

I'm sorry that you're experiencing trouble with 1Password on your Mac devices. You mentioned that you haven't received any suitable help from the support team yet. Can you clarify if you've already opened a ticket with support? If so, can you share the Support ID here, so that I can locate the ticket.

If you haven't already submitted a ticket, can you submit one using the steps Evon shared here.

I understand that troubleshooting and submitting reports can take some time, but it will be vital in helping to determine what specifically is causing the issue to persist on your devices, and will allow us to escalate the issue to the appropriate team if necessary.

I appreciate your patience and look forward to hearing from you!

    David,

I appreciate your attempt to help

I don't know if a specific ticket was submitted. I did go back and forth with someone from support and gave up once I was asked to go through a laundry list of procedures from clearing my cache to generating a report.

Meanwhile, I have three Mac computers all experiencing identical 1Password browser hijacking, asking me to sign in and confirm my setup (which I do each time) only to have it repeated over and over.

On top of that, I did a Google search and found there are similar experiences with other 1Password customers so it seems apparent to me that you guys did a recent software update that is causing havoc with browsers syncing with the 1Password extension. In other words, the problem seems to be on your end and now people like myself are having to spend time troubleshooting problems.

If this keeps up, I'm not going to renew 1Password. This should not be the experience one expects when paying a subscription.

I see that you're currently in contact with our support team via email. Please continue the conversation there.

Since we have a communications channel open using email, I'll close this thread.
