How to prefer passkey if I have BOTH a passkey and password defined?

I really like the "Automatically Submit Login" function, and not having all those extra clicks. But I also like passkeys. Unfortunately, using passkeys seems to always require a click on the slide-in from the right. But since we seem to be in is transition phase, where we start with a password, then add a passkey... and wind up having both... what is the best way to make this all still work together?

Ideally, I would like to say "yes please always try my passkey" (instead of password). Can I force this by blanking the password? But that ends my ability to fall back to using the password, since I won't have it.

Alternatively, I can disable automatically submit, but that's annoying, especially when it will work on all my non-passkey sites. LOL What is the best approach here, to benefit from auto-submission but not have to forsake using passkeys in the process??

Oh, one additional wrinkle... LOL Some sites... Amazon comes to mind... do us the favor of detecting what browser we're using and deciding whether we can do passkeys or not. So in the case of Amazon, it won't even request a passkey at first, but on the password form there is a button to use it (and it works!). On chrome it's prompted right away on the username form/page.

I can't see an alternative other than to just disable auto-submit for now, but the whole passkey experience is crazy. It works... but...
