Firefox 1Password logins window doesn't stay open - Part 2
I asked about this issue, with the 1Password window not remaining open after logging into 1Password when using Firefox, back in 2021 and was told that the development team are looking into it and potentially working on a fix, but we're in 2025 now and this still happens. Can you please provide any update(s)? I can't comment on the previous post any longer so that's why I've made this one that references the original post.

Extension Version: 8.10.56.28

Hello, @SyberCorp. Thank you for reaching out.
This behaviour occurs on Firefox's end. I've located the open bug on Mozilla's page: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1799344.
If you prefer not to wait for their fix, you can manually adjust this option on Firefox's Advanced Preferences page. Here's how:
Please proceed with caution when changing Firefox's advanced configuration. This is experimental, and Mozilla hasn't yet decided to turn this on by default. There is a possibility that this may break other extensions or cause unexpected outcomes.
- Open Firefox.
- Paste about:config into Firefox's address bar and press Enter.
- In the search field, paste
extensions.openPopupWithoutUserGesture.enabled
. - Press the toggle button to change the option to True.
Let me know how that goes.
