Error while connecting 1Password to 1Password mini

Hi,

after a clean install of OS X 10.9, 1Password doesn't run anymore.

Right after starting 1Password I get 2 error messages. They are mostly the same and say something like
"Error while connecting 1Password to 1Password mini. Try restart 1Password."

Restarting doesn't help.
I have tried the stable and the beta version.

Is somebody with the same problem or a solution out there?
Its pretty annoying to use 1Password 3 again.

    Try restarting 1P Mini (Help > Troubleshooting > Restart 1Password Mini).

    Thanks for the tip Stephen, but it didn't work the Menu-Button is grayed out.

    The only thing I can think of at the moment is to re-install 1P4.

    What do you mean by re-install?
    Is there anything instead of deleting the app bundle that i can do?

    Hi,

    is solved the problem, after changing the Gatekeeper option and restart my mac 1Password 4 is running again.

    Hi, @enat.

    If you changed the Gatekeeper option it sounds like you were you trying to run non-MAS 1P4 with Allow applications downloaded from: Mac App Store enabled. I'm happy whatever you did worked. :)
