Repeated requests for keychain access.
1Password keeps asking for access to my keychain. I get the following request:
"1PasswordAgent wants to use your confidential information stores in 1Passwd Master Password in your keychain".
I reply "Always allow" but next time I start up, I get this request again.
Is there a fix for this ??

Hi, @kilima.
It's most likely 1PasswordAgent from 1Password 3 is still configured to run, which is unnecessary with 1Password 4. Here's how you can fix that:
- Go to Finder and choose Go > Go to Folder… and enter
~/Library/LaunchAgents
- Delete
ws.agile.1PasswordAgent.plist
- Choose Go > Go to Folder… and enter
~/Library/Application Support/1Password
- Delete the
Agent
folder - Restart your Mac
After doing that the message to access your keychain should stop. I hope that works for you!

Thank you - this worked for me. There is a solution posted earlier (see link) which does not work though. I've tried it very carefully.
Could you please remove or update http://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/12036/1passwordagent-app-wants-to-use-your-confidential-information-stored-in-1passwd-master-password-in
Thanks,
Doug

Hi Doug ( @grantdoug ),
I'm glad to hear that @sjk's solution above got your problem solved! The post you are referring to is found in the 1Password 3 section of our forum, and the fix there should still be valid for users on 3.8. I apologize for any confusion.
If you run into any further snags, we'd be happy to help :)
