Time Machine backup/restore
I back up my MacBook Pro regularly with Time Machine on a WD external drive. This week the hard drive had to be wiped. 1Password did not reload and is greyed in the menu. Can't "Restore from Existing". I have my database on another, older MacBook Pro. Suggestions to get all info running on the newer laptop? I did buy 1Password 4, but it wouldn't work (don't remember why) so am running 3.8.21 on both laptops (or at least I was - now it's just on the older one). Can the data be transferred from one laptop to the other?

Hi @de4icings,
I would like to apologize for the delay in responding to you here but we have been a bit overwhelmed since the launch of 1Password 4 for Mac. We're all working hard and putting in extra hours to get back to our usual snappy responses and we really appreciate your patience.
I'm so glad to hear you got things sorted out with Dropbox. It's a pretty handy service! :)
If you run into any further snags, please let me know - I'd be happy to help.

Please help - I've just had the same issue. Was using the latest version 4.1.2 but had to wipe my disk. I'm searching my Time Machine backups for a 1Password.agilekeychain file as other posts describe restoring from this, but can't locate one. How can I restore my old 1Password stored data?

Hi @nicklein,
Wiping a harddrive is never fun. I'm so sorry to hear you're having trouble restoring 1Password. If you're using 1Password 4, a 1Password.agilekeychain file will only be created if you are syncing via Dropbox or Folder Sync. Were you syncing your database to any other devices?
For your version of 1Password, backups will be here: ~/Library/Containers/2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits.onepassword-osx-helper/Data/Library/Backups
Please let me know if you have any luck restoring from a backup here! :)
