Browser extension requires 2 attempts to get it fully open with Google Chrome

For the last month or so whenever I attempt to open the browser extension in Google Chrome, I only get the first part of the 1Password dialog to open. Just a square small enough to see the padlock in the lower left corner of the dialog (see image below). To open it up completely, I have to click on the 1Password icon in my browsers bar again. Strange behavior!

I did uninstall and reinstall the extension which fixed the issue for a few days. Now the poor behavior is back.

Any ideas?
