Browser Plugins Show All Logins for the Domain, not Just the Host
My internal domain is scw4.net, and I have a number of internal websites, all with different hostnames. When I call up, for example, splunk.scw4.net in my browser, the browser plugin shows all the websites for the entire scw4.net domain, not just the 2 entries I have for splunk.scw4.net.
Screenshot: (the stuff in the red boxes should not show up here - those are for different hosts on the scw4.net domain)
This has happened in 1P3 and 1P4, so I'm pretty sure it's my own workflow that does this - but I can't for the life of me figure it out.
Thoughts?

I have this same problem!
I'd also like to figure out a way to sort by path, as I need to log in to multiple web apps on the same host sometimes. Thanks,

Hi @bigfriggin and @dillwishlist,
Subdomain sorting is something that our organizational gurus are working hard to improve in 1Password 4. Currently 1Password sorts by domain only, which can return a lot of unnecessary Logins sometimes.
While we work to get this sorted out, I've found that creating unique titles for my Logins and using the search feature in 1Password Mini is a quick way to find the site that I actually need:
- Click the key in the menubar or use the shortcut to bring up 1Password Mini
- Start typing the Login title
- Hit enter when the appropriate Login is selected to have 1Password open the page and fill the Login.
I hope this helps, but I've added your votes to the subdomain sorting issue all the same. :)

Hi @bigfriggin,
I'll admit, I'm not a developer, so I'm not quite as clear on what is and is not simple when it comes to coding (it's all a bit magical and mysterious to me!)
I can tell you though that our development team has been occupied with some nasty syncing bugs since the release of 1Password 4. Now that they've managed to squash most of the major issues, it's almost time to start turning attention to improvements and some nice new features. Unfortunately I can't provide much more detail than that: we never want to promise dates and such on unreleased features, as there are just too many factors involved that could cause us to break a promise ... which is never a good way to keep our users happy. ;)

Hi all - @Megan - I reported this during the beta cycle for 1Password 4 back in Aug 2013 in this thread here. http://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/14409/subdomain-site-matches-all-sites-within-the-domain-with-command-will-be-improved
What's worse is this was a change in behavior from 1Password 3...

Hi @jacobp and @bigfriggin,
I do apologize that this has been so troublesome for you. You're right, it is a change in behaviour from 1Password 3. This is because 1Password 4 is just not a polished up version of 1Password 3, but an entirely newly written app. There are some features that our developers are still working on perfecting. We very much appreciate your patience, and we'll get this behaving better just as soon as we can!

This is indeed a duplicate of http://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/14409/subdomain-site-matches-all-sites-within-the-domain-with-command-will-be-improved, which, however has been closed. I believe it to be useful to keep the discussion open, in order to get an idea of how many users are actually interested in this feature.
Personally I would like to reduce to a bare minimum the amount of correct-entry-searching. My primary need, is to work quicker and faster. I should therefore not have to choose for the correct entry, when there exists one entry with the exact URL or FQDN with the site i'm visiting.
This is the suggestion:
- If there is no exact URL or FQDN match, then present me with all *.domain.com matches.
- If there is exact URL or FQDN, then present me only with those exact matches.

Hi @afm,
Thanks so much for adding your thoughts here. As @jacobp mentions, we have made some significant improvements to 1Password's URL matching in the latest beta. If you'd like to help us out, you are welcome to do so: http://j.mp/1Pm4bSignup
