Its a bit convoluted but
My drive crashed, nothing abnormal, restored it, upgraded to 1p 4 ended up with two archive files, primary and secondary. The secondary was essentially my old file and the primary was an old old archived back up. Exported my secondary to reimport it to the primary to get them all together and then I was going to delete the secondary. The issue is that When I try to import it, it gets part of the import process and seems to shut down. I restart it and it seems to pick up where I left off. Doing this multiple times it seems to get to the end and be done, but when I look at the numbers they don't match up. It could be duplicates as the and the import file eliminates them, the primary ends up being smaller, but starting and stoping gives no confidence that I got it right. On top of that there is no way to know which one I am filling in from or saving to, which is very important to me. I would really like to be able to choose which one. I would like to keep separate files eventually for work and home, but at the moment don't see that happening.

Hi @mynumbersplease,
I would like to apologize for the delay in responding to you here but we experienced a surge in support requests recently. We're all working hard and putting in extra hours to get back to our usual snappy responses and we really appreciate your patience.
I'm sorry to hear that you've been having trouble importing things into 1Password. If you're concerned about missing items, the easiest solution is to restore your system from a backup before the import and then try the import again. Please let me know if you'd like some more detailed instructions on that - I'd be happy to help!
On top of that there is no way to know which one I am filling in from or saving to, which is very important to me.
When multiple vaults are enabled, the current vault will be indicated by the colour of the lock icon in the top right of the Mini menu bar. You can change which vault you are using by clicking this icon and selecting the desired vault. The same applies when you save a new Login. The lock colour reflects the active vault, which can be switched by clicking the lock icon. Please note that a vault details (such as the colour of the lock icon) cannot be easily changed after creation, so if you are creating a new vault, be sure to select a unique colour to make it easier to differentiate later.
I hope this helps, but we're here if you have any further questions!
