web form and fields

Hi,
my bank web site (https://www.bpmbanking.it) don't let me save the form when insert the credential, then I insert manually.
Here the first problem can't do that in 1P4, if there is in 1P3 why do you remove that? Do you think to reintroduce it?

I see that in 1P4 I can create how many fields I want, but why I can't use other fields to fill the web form?

thanks
Saul

    Hi @ilSaul,

Thanks so much for including the website in your post - it makes it so much easier for us to track things down. I was able to create a Login for this site using the steps here: Saving a new Login manually Please let me know if your Login still doesn't work after saving it this way (I can't fully test because I don't have a proper account with your bank.

Webform details can still be edited in 1Password 4, but it is not possible to create new fields. This is a feature that has been requested, and I've added your vote to the tracker. :)

    Hi @Megan,
Now work, but I don't understand the difference from my. In any case I think you need to add one step on your guide: "Change the URL of an existing bookmark, if you have, else the system don't save a new one".
I find a solution for add a new fields but it's not very simple export the bookmark (it is a json) add field there and import the modified file.
Thanks for add me to the tracker. Where is the tracker for see what user ask? I can vote for more than one?

And about my last question? Maybe is not so clear I try to explain better.
If web form ask 3 field name, surname and password, why i can't use 3 field but exist only user and pw for fill the web form? I know that I can input how many fix field that i need but not dynamically fields.

    thanks Saul

    Hi @ilSaul,

I'm glad to hear that your Login is working now! Sometimes The issue tracker I mentioned is on our internal system, so unfortunately there's no way for you to keep an eye on it. However, if you see anything else in 1Password that needs a bit of improvement, feel free to let us know about it in the forums here and we'll be glad to add your feedback. :)

I'm sorry if I misunderstood your question earlier. We changed the way webform details looks in 1Password 4 to make the Login entry cleaner for the average user, and to prevent the webform details from being accidentally changed in a way that would break the filling ability of the Login. There have been requests from more advanced users such as yourself to be able to do more with the webform details, and our developers are considering bringing this feature back.

I hope this helps, but we're here if you have any further questions!
