I am running the latest version of OSX, 1Password, and the Safari plugin. I checked the knowledge base, but none of the suggestions applied.

Same here. Running 4.1.3 413001. Also downloaded "the tool" and that installer is worthless as it hangs at "where to install."

    Hi @jhawk28 and @plexiprs,

I'm so sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the Safari plugin after updating 1Password. Let's try reinstalling the 1Password 4 browser extension for Safari.

    Please follow these steps:

    • Open Safari.
    • Click Safari > Preferences in the menu bar.
    • Click the Extensions tab.
    • Click "Uninstall" for the 1Password 4 extension.
    • Restart your Mac.
    • Launch Safari and visit the following page: https://agilebits.com/browsers/index.html
    • Click the big green button, and follow the instructions on the new page to install the extension.

As far as the auto-submit tool goes @plexiprs, it won't help Safari fill things in, but I'd be happy to help you install it anyway. It sounds like there may be a permissions issue involved here. Could you please send us a Diagnostics Report?

Download the 1Password Troubleshooting utility and follow the instructions to generate the report.

Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@ agilebits .com

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!
