Feature Request: Password Recipes per password entry

As you know - many passwords have unique requirements. Some are limited to a particular length, some do not allow special characters, etc.
When editing an existing 1Password entry to generate a new password, the recipe is the settings that were last used to generate a password and may not be appropriate for the particular entry being edited. It would be totally awesome, if 1Password would allow the recipe settings to be recalled for every password field so that any time a new password is generated for an existing item, the password will be appropriate in the context for which it is used.

That's a great idea; thanks for suggesting it. I've already added it to our request tracker. :)

Maybe something like a Current Password Recipe preset, where that could be available.

This is yet another feature that was implemented well in 1Password 3 and regressed in 1Password 4. Maybe the code is still hanging around. It sure would be nice to have it back promptly. Currently it is a pain to update passwords while it used to be very easy.

1Password 4 is brand new from the ground up and we're not borrowing/reusing code from 1Password 3. We appreciate your patience as features and functionality you liked in 1Password 4 continues to be restored in 1Password 4.
