Procedure details to enable dropbox sync?

There are incorrect instructions here:

That web page shows a preference screen that does not match the current product (I just downloaded and installed 4.1.3 (413002).

The issue is the preferences screen for enabling dropbox sync requires you to "choose a vault" but what and where is that? There is no help for that.

iCloud sync is nice and simple since it does not require this extra vault selection step, but I want to use dropbox so I can share with a future Windows install.

I was just about to point out that I found that other page you indicated: that page, even though for 1password 4 is still not correct, but it gave me a clue.
That page shows that preferences will say "Click here to find the dropbox folder..." - the actual 4.1.3 product does not say that (says something about a keychain). So it would be good if the product was consistent with the web help info.

The real problem is the message is misleading: I thought I had to locate where 1password had its vault, that is certainly what the message implied.
What it really should say is to select a location in your dropbox folder for 1password to use to store the encrypted password info!
The info on the web page is a little bit closer to what it really should say, and it is what gave me the clue that all I had to do was select a folder in my dropbox for 1password to use. So I tried that and it seemed to work!

But for the benefit of others you need to make the message in the preferences screen more helpful and clear!

I have just encountered this exact problem while trying to sync my new 1Password with dropbox, the message asks you to locate the vault in dropbox which is confusing as what it actually wants is for me to select a folder to store the data in
