main 1Password program won't unlock

On the Windows 7 software, I type the master password, and I can see my data for about a second before it takes me back to the unlock screen.
(The password was typed correctly- I know because when I don't type it correctly- it says something different).
Please help me! I don't know what to do...

Are you trying to unlock the main 1Password program or the 1Password extension for one of the browsers (and which browser, if the latter)?

I use the Chrome extension.

Please check the Extensions tab of Chrome preferences, and let us know the full version of the 1Password extension.

It's probably unrelated, but please launch 1Password and choose Help > Check for New Version. (You don't need to open your data to be able to get the latest version of the software.)
