1Password does not fill userid/password for bank site with variable logon screen and 2-step logon

Hello,

I have ver 4.2.2 and I use the Safari extension. The 1Password program simply does not work at certain bank sites where the logon screen apparently creates a variable part to the URL. In addition the userid has to be entered on one screen and the password on the next. An example would be:

You go to: https://www.myoptimizerplus.com/banking/index.htm and when you click on logon, you get the following where the execution key part is different each time.

  • Hi @umarwadia,

For instructions regarding multi-page logins, please see this:

    Create multi-page logins

Sites that use unique login URLs are very tricky. But, in this case, it appears that this URL will work every time: https://www.myoptplussecure.com/GECRBWebClient/login.do?UISCode=0000000

Please let me know if that helps! :)

Hi, the url worked out for remembering the userid but the password does not fill in on the next screen. I did look at your document for multi-page logins but there must me something on the site where it may not allow 1Password to fill in the password.

    Hi @umarwadia,

Is this what the second page looks like for you where the password isn't filling?

If you manually save a new Login there with only the password then that item should work to fill it.

And here's a sample Login item that you can download, import, then test filling with on both the first and second screens:

    GE Capital Retail Bank.1pif

If that works correctly you can change the username and password fields to your personal values.

You can also change its submit option, which is current Never Submit so it's easier to test with.

Hopefully that helps you get it working.
