Scanning Mac for New Applications

Is there a way to get 1Password to scan my Mac for new applications and licenses?

    Hi @aweaton,

    Due to application sandboxing, 1Password isn't able to scan your Mac to look for apps or other information.

    Additionally, license keys and other license information aren't stored in application bundles, or any default location, so searching for them would be nearly impossible.

    To create a new Software License item, drag an app onto 1Password's Dock icon or into its main application window. Then, you can manually add your license key or file to the entry.
