Username and password aren't being entered for some sites

Hi, I just installed 1Password today on my Mac. I've entered in about 40 sites that I use. I installed the correct Chrome browser extension, etc. I've noticed that about half of the sites aren't logging in. I've gone into the FAQs and followed all the instructions, but still have this issue. Some of the sites that won't login for me are:

Also, I read somewhere that I should manually input my site details if I have issues. I believe I do this by going to the key symbol in my header, then clicking on the gear, then clicking on 'save new login'. Only sometimes do i get a dialogue box for this.

Thanks for the list of those sites that are giving you trouble with 1Password. I manually created test Login items for them using essentially these steps:

And I was able to successfully autofill using all of those items. For a couple, like www.namecheap.com, I first had to open the page and click a popup before filling (using the default Command-\ keyboard shortcut for Fill login on current web page).

Please give that manual saving procedure and fill testing a try with at least one site and if you still have trouble we can focus on fixing the trouble there, then move on to others. Also, which versions of the 1Password application and extension are you running?

ok that seems to have worked. Does this mean I can't really use the automatic way of collecting usernames and passwords, and instead I should always use the manual way?

Which site/page did you manually save an item for that filling works with now? And do you have a non-working item for the same site/page that had been previously autosaved? Any information that helps better understand how you're creating the non-working items is appreciated. Thanks!
