Not asking to save new logins

I'm just getting set up with 1Password and already having trouble.

I'm following the Basics section of the user guide and logging in to Gmail. However, 1Password doesn't prompt me to save the login as it is supposed to.

I have already troubleshooted using the FAQ and none of the common issues listed there are a problem. Everything seems to be set up fine.

I have also uninstalled and reinstalled both the app from my Mac and the add-on for my Firefox browser, but none of that helped.

What am I missing?

    Hi @CasaJJ,

    I'm sorry that 1Password is giving you trouble with autosaving logins. Which versions of 1Password and its Firefox browser extension are you running? Have you restarted your Mac since this problem started?

    Does saving a new Login manually on a page where autosaving has failed work okay? And does filling work okay with any Login items you've created?

    Please confirm that these settings are okay:

    In the Preferences window of the main 1Password application, select the General tab and make sure Always keep 1Password mini running is checked.

    Next, select the Browser tab and make sure Automatically ask to save new Logins is enabled.
