1Password 4 "compatibility" / Sync using iCloud

Hi, I bought 1Password 4 yesterday for my Mac. I ve pretty much been trying to figure out how to get it on my iPad for most of the day- spent the day battling with iCloud, App settings etc. I ve read all sorts of user guides etc. Reading this forum I realise I am not the only one who does not find the explanations straightforward. You certainly make it complicated. Anyhow, I ve pretty much figured now that when it claims the app "syncs" on all devices for a seamless, amazing, "this-will-make-your-life-so-much-better" experience, what you mean is that the different apps (1 Password for iMac, 1 Password for iPad, 1 Password for iPhone etc) will talk to each other SO LONG AS YOU PAY FOR EACH downloads on each of your separate device "type" I am not that price sensitive and would have been fine to pay gbp36 for my iMac and another gbp13 for my iPad etc, but I find the fact that it is not stated clearly / ur explanations very misleading, amounting to day light robbery. From the forums I read I understand some users were on your previous version, presumingly a separate App for each of their device "type" then now have to re-buy everything for the new version. I find the whole thing absolutely disgraceful. How do I un-install this app and get my money back in the 30 days "cooling off" period?

    Hi Melanie,

I'm so sorry to hear that your first experience with 1Password has been less than awesome. We are always striving to make communication about our pricing as clear as possible. Obviously we haven't done a well enough job in that. Could you let me know the exact pages where you felt misled in our pricing? We want to make sure those get improved for the future.

Of course, I'd be happy to help you get a refund for your purchase. Please send a message to support+social@ agilebits .com with your purchase information and I'll get this all sorted out for you.
