"Lock after computer is idle" doesn't work reliably

Hello,

I have this setting set to "1 minute" and I performed a simple test.

After unlocking 1Password, I made note of the time and didn't touch the mouse or keyboard for 55 seconds. Then I wiggled the cursor, waited until after the 60 second mark and checked 1Password mini. It's unlocked, as expected.

Again, I made note of the time and didn't touch anything for 65 seconds. I wiggled the cursor and checked on 1Password. Based on my understanding of the "Lock after idle" preference, it should be locked at this point, but 1Password mini was still unlocked.

This seems to be a serious bug, or am I misunderstanding something?

There was an old discussion about a similar issue on the beta forum some months ago. What happens if you're slightly more generous in your timing of the 60 seconds and allow, say, 70 seconds?

    Thanks for the reply Stephen.

After 70 seconds 1Password is still unlocked, but 2 minutes seems to work. I didn't try any intermediate values to try narrowing it down.

    Hi @JefT,

Thanks for testing this out! We've been fiddling with this setting a bit, as @Stephen_C notes in his previous link, but we've generally been unable to reproduce this on our end. I'll do some further testing here, and if I can reproduce it, I'll file the issue in our tracker.
