So Jeff raises some concerns about Flashback. Assuming OS X is patched to the most recent patch, and assuming we run quality security SW, is the OS or security SW going to detect and eradicate Flashback? Is there any test to determine of the infection exists on my machine?

    Hi @RickCunn,

    As far as I know, the security flaw exploited by Flashback was fixed in OS X updates by Apple. I think as long as you're using the latest version of OS X 10.6, latest version of OS X 10.7, or any version of OS X 10.8 or 10.9, your Mac is not vulnerable.
