"Update entry" prompt does not appear when changing the password for DropBox

Hello,

I realize that it's probably a problem that lies more on the Dropbox website than on the 1P team, but I'll report anyway, just for your information…

When going through the procedure to change the password on the Dropbox website, 1Password for Mac (latest version) doesn't display the so-useful "Would you like to update the current entry" prompt. I had to find the generated password in the list, and then update the DropBox entry.

Cheers,

Sébastien

    Hi Sébastien ( @sebpennec ),

Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention. I've noticed this as well, and I'll be sure to pass this along to our developers.

As a helpful hint for times like this: look in 1Password Mini's password generator and check that the 'Copy to Clipboard before Filling' is checked. (You can find this by clicking the arrow next to the 'Fill' button.) As long as this is selected, your newly generated password will be copied to the clipboard so that you can simply open the main app and paste this password into your existing Login if 1Password doesn't ask you to update. :)

    I hope this helps!
