Security Issue?
Running Macbook OSX 10.9.3 if I quit 1password and click icon to start the app, the app is already open. So it appears necessary to lock the app before quitting. Anyone else experience this?

Please check your settings in Preferences > Security and ensure that 'Lock when main window is closed' is selected. Because version 4 has the 1Password Mini, 1Password can still be running and available even when the main app itself is closed or quit. This is a handy little feature that will allow you access to all your 1Password data even if the main app is not open. The lock settings in Preferences > Security apply to both the Mini and the main app.

That fixed it thanks very much. Just another little bugette sometimes when my mac sleeps and then I wake it up my master password doesn't work. Quitting the app and then opening again works. Is this a known issue?

I don't think that's a bug. It's how the application is designed to work, depending on what settings you have in the Security section of Preferences.
