Have changed eBay password but still prompting me to do so again when I log in.
Have changed eBay password but still prompting me to do so again when I log in. When I use password generator to create a password that 1Password says is strong the stupid eBay page indicates that its weak! Keeps returning me to the create password page despite meeting all the criterion suggested (CAPS, lowercase, symbols etc). Allows me to log in with my new password but redirects me to the change password page again. Anyone else having this nonsense?

Have just entered a password manually and it accepts it. It seems this form WILL NOT work with the 1Password Generator (or copy/paste). Therefore my password is compromised as not as secure as possible.
Stupid, Stupid eBay!!
Any work arounds?

Hi @RDH,
I'm so sorry to hear that you're having trouble changing your eBay password. I'll admit, I don't have an eBay account myself, so I'm not able to test this properly, but many of our users have found that using the password generator in the Mini and using the 'Fill' option does work - are you seeing something different?
Please provide the exact steps that you are using so that we can do some more detailed testing on our end. :)

I am having all sort of issues with changing my ebay password. when I actually do sign in, the manager tries to enter the information from the actual ftp change password site, instead of the main www.ebay page. It is frustrating, and I am not sure what to try next.

Now I changed mine when it was announced and had no issues. I hope I don't have to change it again.

Hi @gtrplr2
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your eBay login right now. Please ensure that the website saved in your Login is signin.ebay.com - it sounds like you may have saved your Login directly from the password change page, and 1Password saved that URL instead of the main site URL.
One way to ensure that everything is saved correctly is to manually save a new Login. Let's try this:
- Edit the login that you currently have for this website by appending an "Old" to the title - just so you can tell them apart.
- Visit the site (signin.ebay.com) and fill in the fields you want filled. Do NOT click the login button.
- Click the 1Password extension, and unlock it if necessary.
- Click the gear icon (or vault icon if multiple vaults are enabled) in the upper right corner.
- Select Save new login.
- Give the entry a unique and identifiable title.
- Click Save.
- Revisit the site and see if 1Password fills in the site correctly.
I was able to create a working Login using these steps - I hope it works for you as well!
