Added URLs not working as active link [use Login items instead of custom fields]

Bank Accounts do not have a URL field in the template...so I have to create a new field titled URL. After entering the website address (i.e. www.xxxxx.com) and saving, the link is not active (will not auto connect).

You can use only login items to auto submit. You need to create a login item for your bank. If you want to link that login item with your bank account details (in the Bank Accounts category) one way to do so is by using tags.
