Sync/Merge: How to make a particular vault authoritative?

I'm syncing w/ Dropbox across a few computers. Many of the entries on one computer were accidentally deleted. Those deletions were synced across. I want to restart syncing and have the merging go in the other direction. I.e., The entries would be re-populated into the database/instance needing them. But I haven't figured out how to do this.

I've tried different combinations of restoring backups, and disabling and re-enabling syncing, but so far, I'm only seeing the erroneous deletions being propagated.

Thanks!

I've created a method using the Export/Import feature to first get all the instances synced.

    1. On the non-authoritative computers, delete all entries
    2. On the authoritative computer, export all entries into a folder in Dropbox
    3. On the non-authoritative computers, import the entries
    4. On the authoritative computer, set up Dropbox syncing
    5. On the non-authoritative computers, enable Dropbox syncing using the file spec'd in step 4.

I'm now seeing whether my iOS Dropbox will simply pick up the synced data, or will cause problems.

The iPhone version was having errors, and pushing changes back up to the other instances. :-( So I'm deleting it off the phone and re-installing.

    Hi Robb,

Let me know how things sync up! Exporting and then importing your entries was just what I was going to suggest. :) If you hit any snags, we'd be happy to help.
