1password main program won't start
Hi there,
I've just installed 1password 4 for Windows (running on Win 7). I didn't uninstall 1password 1 first - although I've subsequently uninstalled both and reinstalled 4. I can't get the main app to launch/open. There's a process running but no service and nothing in the sys tray. The Chrome browser extension reports that the helper isn't running.
I've done the uninstall/reboot/download fresh/install/reboot cycle a few times now and no joy.
Any ideas?

Oh it started working now. Took a LOOOONG time to open

Thanks for writing in, I'm glad you got it to work. You said it took a long time to open, is this for the first time only or does it happen every time you open 1Password?
Do you have an anti-virus program that might be scanning the 1Password directory? It could cause it to slow down while it is trying to load your data file.

Now that you have the latest beta version, here are 2 settings I would like you to turn OFF
- Start 1Password
- Unlock
- View > Show Rich Icons (please make sure this is OFF)
And then here's another one:
- Start 1Password
- Unlock
- File > Preferences (Ctrl+P)
- "Scan Dropbox directory for 1Password Vaults" --> please make sure this is OFF
Can you please confirm both these settings are turned OFF?
