@Gabor Bocskai Take a quick note of the other extension in Safari, and try this.
- Quit Safari.
- Open the Finder.
- Select the Go menu, then Go to Folder.
- Copy & paste the next line into the prompt, including the tilde symbol.
~/Library/Safari/
- Click the Go button.
- Remove both the
Extensions
and theDatabases
folders to the desktop. - Launch Safari.
- Reinstall the 1Password Extension first, and test it.
- Reinstall the other extensions.

Still mot working properly. 1P extension disappears when closing Safari.

Hi @Gabor Bocskai
I'm sorry that didn't work for you! Our developer has a suggestion for this in another thread - do his steps help?

Unfortunatly the suggestions did not help.

@Gabor Bocskai So, I just realized we haven't asked yet, but what exactly is happening in Safari that causes you to re-install the extension? Is it disappearing? Showing a message? Any details (or even screenshots) you can provide would be stellar.

The extension disappears after closing and than re-opening Safari. I have tried every possible fix suggested here but nothing seems to cure the issue. I love 1p and would appreciate your help. The extension works fine in chrome.

@Gabor Bocskai Sorry for the seemingly millions of questions. I am trying to find the cause here. When you say it disappears, you mean it no longer shows as being installed in
Safari > Preferences > Extensions
after you quit and relaunch Safari, yet all other extensions remain?0 -
yes that is what happens.

Hi @Gabor Bocskai
Let's try this.
- Open the Finder and go to
Applications > Utilities > Keychain Access
. - Use the search bar in Keychain Access to type in
Extensions
. - You should see
Safari Extensions List
as a result. Delete it. - Restart your Mac, and re-install the 1Password extension.
Let me know if that works.

This worked Thanks very much for the help.
