iCloud Changes by Dave T. And Wi-Fi Sync (Grrrrrrrrr)
Team: Ok, I have given up on Wi-Fi syncing. It works - it doesn't work - it needs to become a hobby with all the effort etc. It works last week after truncating my computer name, I apply the most recent update, the update that fixed the computer name issue, and now - no more Wi-Fi sync.
So, despite the fact that I do not want to drop my data onto an Apple server, I will use iCloud sync. But, alas I have the webstore version of 1P for Mac. And I can't use iCloud per Dave's announcement!!!. (No good deed goes unpunished, I thought purchasing the license directly from the vendor - Agilebits - would deliver more of the fee to them, than using the Apple store.)
Ok, so now I need to purchase - again - a license for 1P for Mac from the Apple store. Fine.
Please provide a few tips:
How do I get all of my passwords over to the Apple version for the webstore version?
Do I delete the webstore version before I purchase the App store version?
And then sync from the (populated) iOS app. (Yes, I bought those through Apple)
Will the apple version simply overwrite the existing webstore version?
Etc.

I oftentimes talk to myself. So I answer myself as well.
Yes, Michael, simply purchase the app off of the Apple store, it will install and incorporate existing passwords in a seamless transition. The iCloud sync option will then be available. (And don't forget to use a strong master pass phrase.)

Hi @Waterford
Sorry for the trouble with WiFi sync. We are definitely working on rolling out improvements as quickly as we can code and test them.

It does, yes, but likely at least in part of this reason Apple doesn't allow us to use CloudKit in the non-Mac App Store version [they don't get their cut that way]
Can't blame them really, it is good business on their part.

You said it just as well as I could've. Thanks!
