1Password floating window in browser steals mouse focus

In the latest version of 1Password, I've noticed when you try to autofill a password with ⌘\, and your mouse just happens to be where the window appears, the option under the mouse is selected, and you can't use the arrow keys to select what you want to select. This seems to be new behavior. Is a regression needed?

Hi @squint‌ I think I know what you mean although I'm having trouble replicating the behaviour. Depending on how easy it is for you to repeat it on your system can I ask, what happens if you press the left arrow key first, I found I could navigate up and down the menu, as it's something to do with closing the Logins window that would normally appear when you hover an entry. Don't worry if that didn't make sense, I'm not entirely happy that I'm explaining it very well (so it'd be me).

That workaround works! Thank you sir.

I think the change is that the menu auto-appears now, if your mouse happens to be over one of the logins when you press ⌘\ and the list comes up.

People that use the mouse are going to move the mouse anyway so I think the behavior could be changed so that people that use the keyboard to navigate don't have to press left-arrow before they can press up/down. That is, the menu shouldn't appear until they press up or down and select another login and leave it selected for a couple seconds.

I would also argue people that press ⌘\ to auto-fill probably use the keyboard for selecting the login too. :)

    Hi @squint,

I have great news for you! Our developers have already managed to improve 1Password's behaviour here. You should see an update soon that resolves this. (I've had it happen too ... and it's not fun.)
