browser pull-out menu has no scroll bar in Firefox
I'm encountering a problem when attempting to use 1Password 5 in Firefox. When I click on the 1Password icon in the toolbar and select "logins", all the logins will display in a pull-out/drop-down menu. The list goes to the bottom of the browser window, but there is no scrollbar or way for me to go further down in the list (in my list, for example, I'm shown logins from A-F, but can't get past that).
Any idea how to work around this?

Hi @glowgirl,
While there won't be a visible scrollbar (we have a request filed for that), you should be able to use normal scrolling actions or gestures to scroll a long list of Login items (and other lists) in 1Password mini from Firefox. For example, sliding two fingers up and down a trackpad (by default) when hovering anywhere over such a list.
If that's not happening for you, please mention which versions of 1Password and Firefox you're using and the type of input device (e.g. trackpad or mouse). Also, does the list of Login items that's displayed stretch from just under the menu bar to just above the bottom of the screen? And when you press the Option-Command-\ keyboard shortcut outside of Firefox to open 1Password mini can you scroll the Logins list there?

I'm using FF 33.1 and 1Password 5.0.2 on a desktop Mac, not a laptop, so I don't have a trackpad. I use a Marble Mouse by Logitech.
The list of Login items displayed stretches from under window bar to bottom of screen. And, no, it doesn't work to press Option-Command-\ keyboard shortcut outside of Firefox to open 1Password mini -- the same thing happens in 1Password mini as inside Firefox.
I have tried hovering my mouse over the display names, but when the mouse reaches the bottom of the list, it cannot advance.
Thanks.

Hi @glowgirl,
Thanks for the additional information. If that's the Logitech Trackman Marble Trackball or similar mouse, what happens if you try using its trackball to scroll the list of Login items when the mouse pointer cursor is anywhere in the list? I'm able to scroll it using the clunky scroll wheel on my old Logitech M-BJ58 Optical Mouse, which OS X recognizes as a USB-PS/2 Optical Mouse that can be configured in System Preferences > Mouse (no Logitech Control Center software installed).
Is 1Password the only software that's giving you trouble with scrolling?

Thanks for helping me try and work through this.
Unfortunately using the trackball doesn't work. I checked to see if I could assign a vertical scroll to either of the mouse buttons, but only horizontal scrolls are allowed.
This is the only app I'm having trouble with in scrolling.

Hi @glowgirl
I don't have much to add to the scroll part of this discussion, but I'm curious - in what cases do you find yourself looking at the whole list of your Logins? 1Password mini has a handy search field that can help you find the item that you're looking for, with no scrolling needed!
Here's my workflow for logging in to a website:
- Use ⌘⌥\ ( Command-Option- \ ) to open 1Password mini
- The search field is already active, so I simply start typing the name of the Login I want to use
- Once it is highlighted, I hit 'Enter'
- 1Password opens the page for me, and fills my details
So much easier than typing the URL in the browser's menu bar, opening 1Password and searching through a long list of Logins for the correct one! Of course, I'll pass along your thoughts about the scrollbar, but I do hope this makes the issue moot. ;)

The main reason I use it is because of another problem I'm having with 1Password -- when I go to a website and click on the 1Password icon in my browser (Firefox 33) or in 1Password mini, it sometimes looks like it's filling the form, but doesn't actually input anything into the form itself. When I click on the icon again, the site no longer shows up, so I have to use 1Password mini to find the login.
I'll give your method a try as well; it could help.
Thanks.
