Display order for multiple logins
I manage several Google accounts, but I've added my personal account to Favorites.
However, when I'm prompted to login to Google, for some reason the Favorite login isn't always visible (I have to click on the "more" triangle). I'm not sure how order is determined (alphanumeric?), but I would love to see Favorites appear first when their are multiple logins for a site or domain.

Hi @robtain,
Can you please tell me which version of 1Password for Mac are you using? Because we did have a bug a while back in 1Password 4 that has been fixed. Please make sure that you update to the latest version of 1Password.
The sort order of matching Logins in 1Password mini is Favourites first then alphanumeric (case insensitive).
Let's try to fix this by un-favoriting and re-favoriting the desired Google Account.
Hope that this helps.
Cheers!

I am having this same issue I have even messed around with changing the login title to force change it's order to no avail. I am running 5.0.2 app and 4.2.5 mini in safari where the ordering issue is occurring. Let me know if there is a work around.

Hi @rgspratt
Please check the URLs of each of those Logins. I would suspect that they are actually slightly different.
1Password uses 'precise' domain matching when selecting which Logins to show to you for each website that you visit. This means that it will consider both the domain (google.com) and the subdomain (accounts.google.com vs. mail.google.com). In your example above, I imagine that the URL for
Z Wordpress Database
more closely matches the URL that you are visiting than your favouriteBluehost
Login. There are two ways to fix this:
- Ensure that the URL in each of your accounts matches the main log in URL.
- Enable 'Lenient URL Matching' in Preferences > Browser.
This will change the way 1Password matches domains, so that only the main domain (google.com) is considered when matching. 'Lenient URL Matching' will ensure that your favourite site shows at the top of the list, even if the URLs don't match precisely. This option may not be ideal if you have multiple Logins for a single domain. For example, I have a bunch of different Logins for 'agilebits.com': discussions.agilebits.com, blog.agilebits.com, etc. With 'Lenient URL Matching', all of these Logins will show up whenever I am on any 'AgileBits.com' log in page. Precise URL matching ensures that I only see my blog Login when I am on 'blog.agilebits.com'.
I hope this makes sense, but if you have further questions, we're here to help!
