After installing Yosemite and trying to sync with IOS8 I am getting a Vault Mismatch message ... what do I do now?

    Hi @photofoot‌

    Is it the case that your Mac hasn't been able to sync with iCloud for a while now? I think that's why you're seeing this error. If your machine has gotten quite out of sync simply because a period of time has passed since the last opportunity then you could get a vault mismatch. It's a warning to say these vaults differ more than we'd expect them too.

    Can I ask, which device holds an accurate representation of your vault? Based on that answer we can supply a sequence of steps to sort you out.
