Recovering multiple vaults from backup file
Quick question about multiple vaults and how they back up.
Let's say I have a primary vault and one or more secondary vaults. Backups get made automatically, and I can go to 1Password 5 > Preferences > Backup and trigger a fresh backup any time I like.
When I locate the backups on the file system, they each have extension ".1p4_zip". I can make my own independent copies of these files and store them elsewhere for extra backup resilience, and the ability to roll back to a known good state.
Now, each backup file contains data from ALL the vaults — it looks like the number of vaults is shown in the filename as the number of "profiles".
My question is this: if my computer disappears and all I have is a ".1p4_zip" file as a backup, can I recover all data for all vaults from that file using just my Master Password, without needing to know the secondary vaults' passwords?
I know that's how it works when opening 1Password on the existing installation on my computer: the Master Password unlocks the keys to all the vaults. And it's the same if I restore a backup into my existing 1Password installation.
But I wanted check it works the same if you restore a ".1p4_zip" into a totally different, fresh 1Password installation because the original one is gone.

You are correct in your understanding. You can copy one of the backup files to a completely different computer, restore it and the vaults, items and passwords needed to unlock it would be identical to the machine the backup was taken from. Same Master Password, same access to the secondary vaults etc.
It's actually how I copied my three vaults from my MacBook Pro to my Mac Mini. For the times I need access to my passwords on the server synchronisation isn't that important.
