Good Day. I purchased 1Password years ago and have been very happy with it. Recently though I have a notice saying that my trial has expired. I looked at the forum but the explanations are not helping in my situation. I purchased the app through the App store but recently moved to the US and had to migrate my apple ID so my previous purchase history is not showing. I've looked on my computer and can't seem to find a license file to upload so that the program recognizes that I have the full version. Can anybody assist? As a side note, is there any contact info for Agile Bits as I can't seem to find anything on the website? Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

You do not need a licence for the Mac App Store version. Are you by any chance running OS X Yosemite? If so, is it possible there is another version of 1P somewhere on your machine or on some other disk attached to your machine (for example, a beta version from AgileBits)?

I did recently upgrade to OS X Yosemite. I am only showing 1 version of 1p in my applications folder though..

I'll ping @littlebobbytables‌ for you, who will no doubt be around some time soon. He has more expertise than I and can be more help. I suspect this must have something to do with the fact you migrated your Apple ID (presumably changing to the US app store in the process) but I'm not at all sure of the solution: sorry!

    Hi @JDamingo‌

That's an unusual one. Can you explain what you did when you say you migrated your Apple ID? My hunch is if we can get that sorted and your history of purchases restored you'll be fine. This will likely involve contacting Apple.

So the reason you're running into this issue at the moment is the two systems use different forms of licensing authentication. To sell 1Password via the MAS we use Apple's system which is tied into your Apple ID. As long as you are signed in you can download previous purchases on any of your computers. With our Web Store version we don't have such a system so we use a licence file supplied when you purchase directly from us. Apple though don't pass on any details whatsoever of our users via iTunes App Store or MAS.

We should get you sorted out one way or another though so if you can respond back here and we'll take it from there.
