Select Browser to open URL

Is it possible to pre select the browser that I want 1PW to open the page with?
If not (and I don't want to use Choosy), I suggest you incorporate something like this:

:firefox www.wealth-lab.com/login
or
:chrome www.wealth-lab.com/login

This feature was supported by another popular windows password manager I was using. It is nice and handy sine I have great difficulties open some pages in Safari or open the same bank on Safari at once.

When sharing or transfer entries those "selections" could be either not transferred/shared or could be set to default if browser is not available.

    https://www.choosyosx.com is most likely the most customizable solution and offers rule based matching. I have used it for years.

    Hi @VK1,

    It's not possible to do that from 1Password itself. As you and @thightower‌ mentioned... Choosy would be an option to get you at least part of the way. I can understand why you may not want to go that route though.

    We can file your recommendation as a feature request. It's certainly an interesting idea, and would help greatly for those certain sites that require a specific browser.

    I second that recommendation. Firefox works fine with most sites, but some sites (especially banking) need whatever Safari has that Firefox doesn't. Rather than copying and pasting URL, username and password, it would be so much better to have a "browser choice" option.
