iPhone DOES NOT SYNC!
I bought 1P5 from the App Store ON 11/30/14 and enabled iCloud on both my MacBook Pro (2014) with Yosemite 10.10.1 and on my iPhone 6Plus with the latest system 8.1.1. I also restarted both devises. Everything is completely up to date; however, even after following Dave Teare's guidelines My MacBook does not sync with 1P5 and it does not work on my iPhone. As a result, I have to enter complex passwords manually on my iPhone. If I am doing something incorrectly, perhaps Dave Teare can tell everyone what it is. For an essential app like this there should be human support, either by telephone or chat. We should not be told to search the FAQs or Knowledge Base. :s

Hi @dlm67,
Thanks for taking the time to write to us. Sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with iCloud sync between your Mac and your iPhone.
We fixed a lot of sync related bugs lately and an update is bound to come soon, hopefully you stumbled upon a bug that we already fixed.
If you wish to help us determine whether we fixed it or not you can send us diagnostic reports from both you devices along with a link to this topic and your forum username, to support+forum@agilebits.com. A brief comment here mentioning that you've sent the report would also be helpful. This way we will have more information and we may see when iCloud sync is failing.
Here are the instructions to generate a diagnostic report from your Mac and here are the instructions to create a diagnostic report from your iPhone.
After you sent us the diagnostic reports, we should follow the instructions bellow to sort your problem out. I am assuming the the device with the most up-to-date data is your Mac:
- On your iPhone please go to Settings > Advanced and choose Erase Data and Settings
- On your Mac go to Preferences > Sync > Change Syncing... and disable iCloud sync. Please make sure that you check the option Delete data from iCloud
- Wait a few moments and re-enable iCloud sync. This will create new data in iCloud that will reflect whatever is currently on you Mac
- Wait a few minutes for the newly created data to make across to the iCloud servers
- Launch 1Password on your iPhone and setup as an existent user using the newly created data in iCloud.
Hope that this helps. Please let us know how did it go.
Cheers!
Rad
