One Password 3.8 on one computer and 5 on another
Would running One Password 3.8 on one computer and One Password 5 on another cause any synchronization issues ?

You should be able to sync 1Password 3 and 1Password 5 just fine via Dropbox. It's important to note though that some categories have changed slightly between these versions, and new features have been implemented. For example, custom fields were introduced in 1Password 4, so if you store any details in custom fields, these will not be visible in 1Password 3. They will still be saved in your entry unless you edit this entry in 1Password 3. So, I would recommend using notes instead of custom fields if there are any custom details that need to viewed on both computers.
