iCloud sync

Hi.
I sync 1Password with Dropbox.
I want to use iCloud because Dropbox save my key chain file on the web but I heard that on iCloud, there are no data.
However,, iCloud only can sync one library.
So I still use Dropbox for sync.

  1. Is there any plan to let us use multiple library sync?
  2. I don't use iCloud sync but on iCloud Drive, 1Password mini is shown. How can I remove it?

    Hi @prjna‌

Every sync method will require the transmission of data. For always available solutions such as Dropbox and iCloud it requires storing that data with them. So that data you can see in iCloud is your encrypted vault, the equivalent of the agilekeychain that Dropbox uses (so you don't want to remove it)

I don't image secondary vault support for iCloud is too high on the list for one key reason. Part of the goal behind secondary vaults was the ability to share them and that isn't something you can do with iCloud while Dropbox does. Now I could be wrong but

I understand why you may be hesitant is having your data stored online. What I can say is your vault is encrypted and your Master Password is never sent, we pull down the encrypted files and decrypt them locally. If you're still uncomfortable you can sync your primary vault via Wi-Fi Sync. Currently we're testing syncing of secondary vaults via Wi-Fi in our betas so all going well that feature will be in a not-too-distant update.

    Does that help?
